I made it through the holidays!

I am so proud of myself.  I made it through the holidays without gaining weight or fat.  I am still down 15lbs and down 7% of my total body fat.  I made sure to only eat one plate of food at each holiday venue but splurged in that I allowed myself to have a little bit of everything…as long as it fit on the one plate!  It worked.  Now I am back on my hum-drum diet of oat meal, eggs, rice, fish, hamburger, chicken, v-8, New Whey, protein shakes, and all things Muscle-Tech!  Wish me luck.

I survived Turkey day!

I can’t believe it but I actually made it through a couple turkey days without killing my diet.  I was totally shocked in that I had one serving at my brothers house (Wednesday) and one serving at my in-laws house (Thursday).  No major dietary failures – turkey, ham, some potato (in various forms), and of course the occasional dessert.  All in all a success compared to my normal holiday gorging!  I am hoping to get my dedication to this project to 100% by the end of December and make it through Christmas without any cheating what so ever.  January I...
