Argh!  Looking at this blog is horrible for me.  I show that I was very into things in January and then I fell off quickly.  Not a good thing.  Though that is how new years resolutions work I guess.  The key here is that rather than going to the gym for a while and then piddling out to never return.  I actually bought and paid for all my gym equipment, emptied my living room, and filled it full of reminders as to how fat and lazy I am.  There is my gym mocking me every time I leave the house.  Well…mock me now more.  My oldest son and I have been working out together for the past couple of weeks.  He is not old enough to really lift like I do…he just does the minimum to go through the movements.  A bar here…a 5lb dumbbell there.  But on the days that I am not motivated he usually is “are you ready to work out Papa?”.  And vice versa!  This is the last thing (short of the leg press which I still don’t have) that I needed to complete my gym experience.  There really isn’t anything quite like being able to get up, put on my underwear (yes…I sleep naked), some shoes, roll out to the gym, turn on some music, and go to work.  It is wonderful.  I have streamlined the whole process!

Thanks to this I recently weighed in at 309lbs!  I haven’t been this light (if 309lbs can be called light) in years.  Fun fun fun.

I keep meaning to post some pictures of me and my gym.  Perhaps I will get around to that next.  I also want to start tracking how the various supplements I am taking are impacting me.  Lots to come.
