I can not tell you how difficult it has been to make so many life changes to achieve the ultimate physique. I have totally altered the way that I eat. Notice that I didn’t say that I have put myself on a diet. I purposefully changed the things that I allow in my day to day menu. I do my best to eat simple things – natural foods. I then stuff down about a bowl full of supplements to help round things out as well as taking protein supplements (new whey rocks!). I also altered my work out routine. ...
As a boy that was pretty pudgy (not obese) for his whole life (even now), this topic interests me. Especially now that I am trying to get away from being fat. Also, as the father of 6, 3 of which are boys, I am even more interested in this. I don’t want any of my kids to grow up fat, become a social outcast, unable to find a mate, and possibly unable to function in life. Today I was able to easily dead lift 305lbs. I moved up to 325lbs and had a harder time to get it moving…but managed to move it for a few reps. Naturally I decided to move to 355lbs. WOW. What a difference. This took such an effort and in the process of getting the weight lifted up I nearly blew out my O ring! Argh…form is so super important with this movement…especially with the heavier the load!
