I can not tell you how difficult it has been to make so many life changes to achieve the ultimate physique.  I have totally altered the way that I eat.  Notice that I didn’t say that I have put myself on a diet.  I purposefully changed the things that I allow in my day to day menu.  I do my best to eat simple things – natural foods.  I then stuff down about a bowl full of supplements to help round things out as well as taking protein supplements (new whey rocks!).

I also altered my work out routine.  I went from no work out routine to 3 hours a day 6 days a week.  With these changes I have been able to see great results.

Having altered my menu and my physical fitness I now find myself struggling with one last factor.  How does one kick the mental habit of being lazy?  I have been pretty lazy with health concepts for 30 years.  I find that I lapse on my eating habits here and there.  When my food intake is steadily healthy I find that my work out habits start to falter.  While I want very much to get in shape my mind goes fuzzy from time to time.  I so frequently read articles that state that in order to be able to maintain a change to your menu that you need to allow for “cheat days”.  Cheat days to my mind is a huge relief!  But each time I lose 10lbs and then have a cheat day I find myself almost right back where I started.

Kicking the mental fuzziness is my last obstacle.  No cheating.  No excuses for not working out according to schedule.

Wish me luck!
